Customized Treatment Plans for Every Patient
We will personalize your chiropractic care designed for your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. We will recommend the most appropriate treatment options and develop a treatment plan based on what you are comfortable with.
Typical Phases of Care
- Pain relief – In this phase our main goal is to understand what may be causing your pain and finding the most appropriate treatment options for your condition. This phase may take anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on a number of factors including type of injury, length of time the condition has lasted, lifestyle or activity level, etc. Once you are pain free we will help guide you through appropriate ways to return to your desired activity.
- Return to Sport or Activity – It is important to understand that once you are out of pain, you may not be ready to fully return to your prior activity level. You may still be at risk for relapse of pain or re-injury. Through this phase your doctor will help guide you on a gradual return to activity that will reduce the risk of re-injury or relapse. You may also continue to treat at a lower frequency compared to the initial pain relief phase of care.
- Wellness/Performance Care – Once your doctor feels you have safely returned to your desired level of activity they may recommend this phase of care that is aimed at you living pain free and performing at your best. The recommendations may consist of regular manipulation and manual therapy. The frequency will be based on your goals and level of activity and typically is anywhere from 2-4 times monthly.
